Nuestro artista, Joan Saló, es uno de los 16 finalistas entre los que se decidirá el XVI Premio BBVA de Pintura Ricard Camí. Su obra podrá verse, junto con la del resto de los finalistas, en el Centre Cultural Terrassa entre el 5 de septiembre y el 6 de octubre del presente año. La decisión final del jurado se hará pública el día 17 de septiembre.
El Premio, que hoy en día está considerado el más importante de pintura en Cataluña, se instituyó en 1988 con el fin de estimular la creación pictórica y de contribuir a la promoción y la proyección de jóvenes valores. A lo largo de los años, se ha ido introduciendo en los círculos culturales, artísticos y docentes, y ha devenido una referencia de tendencias y de propuestas nuevas de la plástica contemporánea.

JOAN SALÓ FINALIST OF THE XVI BBVA PRIZE OF PAINTING
Our artist, Joan Saló, is one of the 16 finalists among whom the 16th BBVA Ricard Camí Painting Prize will be decided. His work can be seen, along with the rest of the finalists, at the Terrassa Cultural Center between September 5 and October 6 of this year. The final decision of the jury will be announced on September 17.
The Prize, which today is considered the most important painting prize in Catalonia, was instituted in 1988 with the aim of stimulating pictorial creation and contributing to the promotion and projection of young values. Over the years, it has been introduced into the cultural, artistic and teaching circles, and has become a reference of trends and new proposals in contemporary art.
